Frequently asked questions
How does AI usage pricing work?
You pay for the AI tokens you consume, billed at the provider's cost plus a usage fee based on your plan (20% Developer, 12% Pro, 8% Business, custom Enterprise). Usage is deducted from your prepaid balance.
Do I pay the AI provider separately?
No. DST manages all provider relationships. You pay DST for both the platform and usage. One bill, one balance, one API.
What happens if DST switches provider?
Nothing changes for you. DST routes to the optimal provider automatically. You always pay DST's usage price based on the underlying model cost plus your plan's usage fee. Provider switches are transparent.
What happens if a provider fails?
DST automatically falls back to another provider. You are charged only for the successful request. Failed provider attempts are absorbed by DST — you never pay for failed requests.
Do purchased credits expire?
No. Purchased credits do not expire. Promotional credits (e.g., signup bonus) expire 90 days after issuance.
Can I upgrade anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle.
What is Enterprise?
Enterprise is available with custom pricing, custom usage fees, invoicing, and dedicated support. SSO/SAML and contractual SLA are on the roadmap. Contact sales for details.
Are taxes included?
No. All prices are in USD, excluding applicable taxes. Tax handling will be finalized with payment integration.
